How to stay warm:

The safest heater you can buy. Has a tilt sensor, a low oxygen sensor and so much more. I have used mine for six years and it works great (it is on right now!)

If you want to use the mr. buddy heater for a long time, and everyday, you need to hook it to a standard size propane tank and run a hose. This hose does not require a fuel filter and works great. It is solid and pressure tested. You do not want to be cheap when it comes to propane, get this hose and you will be good to go.

Again, a requirement if you live full time in a RV or Van with a combustion powered stove

The stove I use. I have had a 4 burner stove in the past and never found myself using more than one stove burner at a time. This burner will attach directly to the same hose as the buddy heater, so be sure to buy two if you plan to run both of them at the same time!
This stove requires ventilation! You need a cooking nook with a vent. Click Here |

Universal seat heater. I put these on my couch, bed and stand desk foot pad. These are a god send, and help to keep you toasty warm during the winter. They can heat up your bed in seconds, and make RV living much more enjoyable!

Probably the most important step to keeping your rv or van warm is to insulate it like crazy. Every window should be covered with this stuff. It is also super cheap on amazon, so check it out:

How to stay cold:

Camco RV Roof Vent. Allows for a lot of air flow, even if it rains! I have two of these on my rv and they are amazing!

Fantastic Fan
Stuff this in your roof vent (above) and push hot air out of the top of your RV. This will make the biggest difference possible besides cutting a hole in the floor and sticking one of these on it. Having cold air coming up from below, and pushing hot air out on top, will cool your rv quickly. Highly recommend this setup.

If you can't afford the fan above, then check this one out. It is just as good, but you need to wire it yourself. It accepts 12 volts, but you need to solder the wires in. It is very easy, and its a great fan.

Air Filtration

Take the fan above and add two HEPA Filters, and bam! Clean air in the rv, instantly. Really helps during the springtime when the pollen is filling your rv. Air quality in Rv's and van's is overlooked, but very important.
I used cardboard and ducktape to attach these filters to the fan above.
